Mighty Mo Rodgers is blues legend from Chicago. He has released 6 music albums, won a huge number of music awards in USA and Europe.
Mighty Mo Rodgers – is original singer and composer who united his life experience and deep emotions in his songs. His blues is called „wailing wall“ for his emotions and sadness that creat memorable effect for listeners. His music is valued for music critics and called a new wave in blues and R&B music styles.
He participated as pianist in the video of Brenton Wood hit „Gimme Little Sign“ 1967. He started playing to Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, the most famous blues artists of 80‘s. Their album „Sonny and Brownie“ was nominated as the best of the year (1973).
The first solo album „Blues Is My Wailin‘ Wall“ released in 1999, second „Red, White & Blues“ (2002), life records „Black Paris Blues“ (2004), „Redneck Blues“ (2007), „Dispatches from the Moon“ (2009) and „Cadillac Jack“ (2012).
Mighty Mo Rodgers won a lot of awards: „The Handy Awards“ for his album „Blues Is My Wailin‘ Wall“, (1999); „Living Blues“ nominated for contemporary blues album „Red White and Blues“; „Trophees France Blues“ declareed him as the best international artist for 2001 and 2002; the best composer award (2003); „CHIC De L‘Annee“ gave him the best blues artist name (2007).
Mighty Mo Rodgers will perform together with „Luca Giordano band“ (Italy). This band is really valued by blues artists. „Luca Giordano band“ had played with Nellie „The Tiger“ Travis, J. W. Williams, Stevie Zee, Katherine Davis, Sax Gordon and Eric „Guitar“ Davis.
