Big Daddy Wilson's work combines blues, gospel, roots, soul, funk and reggae, giving impeccable form of music that you want to listen to more and more. By incorporating his favourite instruments, conga, cajon and other percussion, the artist creates a cohesive mix of genres that can be called world music. In search of ways to integrate different genres into blues, Big Daddy Wilson played with a wide variety of groups and formats. He has worked together and learned a lot from the blues performer Eric Bibb and Stafan Astner.
Thanks to its unique vocal style, Big Daddy Wilson sounds different than any other artist. His strong and at the same time smooth voice is classic, refreshing, authentic and very magical.

Big Daddy Wilson celebrated his 25th career anniversary last year, holding a musical tour and releasing the record "Songs from the road" (2018). His discography is adorned with thirteen albums, from which „Neckbone Stew” has won at the the German record industry award Deutscher Schallplattenpreis (2017). In 2014 Big Daddy Wilson became the best blues performer in the country obtaining Big Blues Award.
